THESE dazzling pictures of reworked landscapes paint a stark image of our impact on the world, and what we go away behind. They’re a part of artist and photographer David Maisel’s newest exhibition, The Expanded Area.
Over three many years, Maisel took aerial pictures of environmental change and human exercise, resembling desertification zones and mining initiatives, to disclose the size and dramatic penalties of our actions.
